Getting Ready
Be the host with the most.
Know when to let go.
If the party is going to be a big
one, consider hiring a bartender
for the occasion. We know,
we know. You've gone and
learned all there is to know
about mixing, but there comes
a time when the host belongs
out among the guests,
not stuck at the bar.
Watch your wallet.
If you're on a budget,
just prioritize according
to what your guests prefer.
Do the math.
Plan for 2 drinks per person, per hour, for a four-hour gathering, and one more per hour thereafter. That doesn't mean all your guests should have this much, but it will help ensure there's always enough to go around. And always know when to cut someone off.
